Nothing banned, no laser lights and only real photos. Prices and orders appear only while we hold a Punjab seller certificate and the sales window is open; you order online or on WhatsApp and collect at our registered Lahore shop.

What will our Basant shop sell?

Five categories, all legal for Basant 2027 in Lahore: kites, cotton string, safety gear, rooftop essentials and bundles.

Each category page explains how to choose, what the rules allow and what we plan to stock. Tap Notify me on WhatsApp on anything you want, and we message you when it is available.

How do we decide what to sell?

Every item has to pass three checks before it is listed: it is legal, it is measured or traced against the rules, and we have photographed the real thing.

  • Legal: only cotton dor on a QR-coded pinna, and kites no bigger than the 1.5 tawa gudda or the patang or guddi (4.5 githi). Banned items never enter our stock.
  • Checked: we measure every kite and log every pinna's QR code when stock arrives from registered manufacturers.
  • Real photos: each item shows a real photograph of our stock, taken when it arrives. Until then a drawn kite mark stands in.
  • Safe to use: we leave out anything the rules ban or that puts others at risk, including laser lights and noise makers.

When will prices and ordering open?

Only while we hold a Punjab seller certificate and the official sales window is open, because selling kites or string without registration is a criminal offence.

Selling even permitted kites or string without registration carries 1 to 5 years in prison. Sellers are expected to register in January or February 2027, and the 2027 sales window is not notified yet (expected about a week before the festival).

How does Notify me on WhatsApp work?

Tap it on any item and WhatsApp opens with a message naming that item; send it, and we message you when it is available.

Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. If you'd rather not message, join the waitlist from any item instead, and we note what you asked about. We only message you about Basant.

Do you sell outside Lahore?

Both forms take a minute and save your request, so you hear from us as soon as sales open.

Frequently asked questions

How will buying from your online kite shop work once sales open?

Once we hold a Punjab seller certificate and the sales window opens, you order here or on WhatsApp and collect in person at our registered shop in Lahore with your confirmed order; we don't deliver. We plan to accept cash at pickup, bank transfer, JazzCash and Easypaisa, and bundles and corporate orders need an advance. Prices and the shop address appear only then; the waitlist hears first.

Do you sell banned string or a charkhi?

No. Banned string and the charkhi never enter our stock. See allowed vs banned.

Are your product photos real?

Yes. Every item will show a real photograph of our own stock; we never use AI product images.

Is the price tracker your price list?

No. The price tracker shows market prices reported in Lahore, each with its source. It is not our price list.
